RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with tax manager and seniors; participate in business tax advisory engagements Identify potential Business development opportunities through networking with clients Must be strong on researching relevant facts in an environment where legal entity accounting is not very strong, and able on applying tax rules to sometimes unclear facts Prepare individual income tax returns, review assessments, and social security tax calculations Undertake technical research to support positions taken on tax returns Draft written communications to the tax authorities, individual clients and other client offices Ensure deadlines are met and accurate records are kept Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress Develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients and internal relationships REQUIREMENTS: University degree in Finance/Accounting or related field; professional studies ACCA/CPA/CA are preferred, but not a must. Experience in tax advisory and accounting not less then 3 years; preferably with a major accounting firm or international group Strong knowledge and understanding of IFRS, local GAAP and Kosovo tax legislation Fluent in English Very good PC Skills Must be well organized, with good time management skills, and committed to helping the team meet deadlines Show good attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work In addition to a competitive salary, the client supports this position with external further education cost coverage.
