The PETCOR Partnership Group started off its activities in 1984, when Mr. Gerasimos F. Petratos established a personal enterprise named "Petcor Air - Conditioning - Agencies", based at P.Faliro. Its basic object was the trade, installation and maintenance of air - conditioning systems.

Initially, Petcor is the exclusive representative of the British firm "IMI Air Conditioning Ltd.", which manufactures air - conditioning arrangements of any type for individual, semi - central and central applications.

Then, Petcor establishes and commissions workshops for the technical support of the systems it trades and thus acquires soon enough a quite significant standing in the newly - developing for the time being air - conditioning market.

Meanwhile, companies that are members of the group are established, each one of which deals with the coverage of a specific field, while the representation of the U.S. firm "CONTINENTAL" which manufactures AIR - WATER and WATER - WATER chillers up to 1450 kW begins.

In 1993,Petcor exclusively undertakes the supply, installation and maintenance of the air - conditioning systems for the whole radio base station network of PANAFON cellular telephony.
